Is VirtuPet free?
Yes. Download it free, choose your starter pet and start walking. Premium is optional and adds a second incubator, a bigger egg bag, all three daily quests and more.
How does VirtuPet count my steps?
VirtuPet reads your steps from Apple Health, so the steps your iPhone or Apple Watch records all count. You don't need to keep the app open while you walk.
What happens if I miss a day?
Your pet feels it and gets a little sad, but nothing is lost. One good walk brings them right back, and a streak repair can save your streak.
How many pets can I collect?
Beyond your starter pet there are 101 animals to discover across 9 biomes: Forest, Ocean, Desert, Arctic, Jungle, Mountain, Savanna, Wetlands and Mythic.
Do I have to walk outside?
Every step counts wherever you take it, even on a treadmill, and your steps warm your eggs. Eggs on the map are the bonus for heading outside.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. Add friends with a code or an invite link, race on the weekly leaderboard and team up on duo goals. Invite a friend and you both get a free Scout Pack when they hit their first daily goal.
Is VirtuPet on Android?
Not yet. VirtuPet is available on iPhone today.
